A new iPad application just launched called Vodio brings a similar experience to videos
in the way that Flipboard does for articles on Apple’s tablet. Vodio
uses Channels that are divided into categories including Entertainment,
Movies, Music and Tech, while other more interesting categories are
available under the ‘Cool & Inspiring’ section. You can then
break
each category down further and into more specific categories if desired.
Whilst using Vodio you can also say whether you like or dislike a
video and the app will learn from your choices a little like Stumbleupon
and provide more accurate suggestions in the future.
So the more you use it the more it gets to know your interests. Additionally, Vodio lets you share videos through your social networks, so your friends can enjoy it too. Vodio explains:
“Vodio for iPad delivers personalized video content unlike any
you’ve ever experienced before. Take video consumption on the go to the
next level, by creating your very own personalized video streams from
dozens of content services. Free up your time by watching the most
talked about videos, instead of searching through hours of videos you
might like.”
The new Vodio app is now available to download front he iTunes App Store for free.
