Samsung recently announced that they would launch their Galaxy Note smartphone or tablet in the US with mobile carrier AT&T, as yet we haven’t been given a specific release date for the US.
When it was announced AT&T said that it would be available in the
coming weeks, and we also heard recently that it may be headed to also Sprint and Verizon in the US.
Our readers in Canada will be pleased to know that the Samsung Galaxy
Note is also headed to Canada in mid February, and the device will be
available with Canadian carrier Telus at launch.
As a reminder the Samsung Galaxy Note comes with Android 2.3
Gingerbread and it features a 5.3 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display
with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Note include a dual core
1.4GHz processor, and the device also feature front a rear facing
cameras, with an 8 megapixel camera on the back which features and LED
flash and a front facing 2 megapixel camera for video chat.
We don’t as yet have any information on how much the Samsung Galaxy
Note will retail for in Canada it looks like it will be available with
mobile carriers and also as a SIM free version.
