Samsung announces LED square display

It’s all happening at IFA 2012 in Berlin, Germany. Among the wonders on display is this LED square display from Samsung which is said to deliver a 1:1 ratio LED square display, It is model number UD22B. This LED square display is meant for commercial applications and is expected to be available before the year is out.

This square display is an alternative to traditional rectangular displays, where the 1:1 screen ratio will deliver unlimited configurations while opening up new possibilities in immersive visual experiences. It features a 5.5 mm bezel-to-bezel measurement and can produce a single image across up to 100 displays.

It will be interesting to see where this technology shows up and what kind of art walls are created with these.
