Polaroid has launched a new camera at CES, although this camera is
different than anything we have seen from Polaroid before as it is
powered by Google Android, the Polaroid SC1630 Smart Camera.
From the front of the Polaroid SC1630
you could easily mistake it for
a smartphone, it comes with a 16 megapixel sensor plus a 3x optical
zoom lens and a 3.2 inch touchscreen display.
The Polaroid SC1630 comes with a 36-108mm lens, WiFi, and it also
features 18 different scene modes, plus the ability to directly upload
your photos to the web and it also has full access to the Android
Market, which means you will be able to download a wide range of Android
photo apps.
Polaroid haven’t released any information on pricing as yet, all we
know is that it will go on sale some time this year, it certainly sounds
very interesting.
