Garmin has announced a new line of GPS products in the form of the
Garmin 3500 nüvi GPS range, together with a new Android application at
CES. The new Garmin Smartphone Link app for Android smartphones, enables
access to many of Garmin’s online services, including live
traffic,
camera feeds, weather updates and more. With the ability to stream data
to in-car GPS system via Bluetooth. Supporting the Garmin’s 3590LMT,
2475LT, 2495LMT, 2595LMT, and 3490LMT models.
The
new 3500 nuvi GPS range will become Garmin’s flagship products for 2012
and come equipped with all Garmin’s best in car technologies. Including
Digital 3D Traffic, providing traffic updates every 30 seconds on a
much larger number of roads than their standard traffic system.
There
are two models in the range the Garmin nüvi 3550LM for $370 and the
Garmin nüvi 3590LMT for $400, which brings with it free traffic updates,
voice-activated navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity.
