Asus have unveiled a new addition to their graphics card range with
the introduction of a massive triple slot Radeon HD 7970 DirectCU II top
level graphics card. The Asus Radeon HD 7970
DirectCU II TOP has been factory overclocked and is being marketed as
the coolest and quietest HD 7970 graphics card currently available. The

overclocked to 900MHz on the GPU
and 1,000MHz on the 3GB of GDDR5 memory.
The three slot wide graphics card is equipped with a ultra wide cooling system DirecCU II. Which is a dual-fan cooler with six copper heatpipes which make direct contact with the GPU.
Asus says that the new wider design as a 20 percent larger
dissipation area than previous DirectCU coolers, giving it a cooling
effectiveness that’s 20 percent better and 14dB quieter compared to
AMD’s reference design.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has
been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light we will
