Google has released its latest distribution figures for its Android platform, and the latest version of Android, version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is now on 1 percent of all Android devices.
Still
in the top spot is Android Gingerbread with a 58.6 share of the total
Android distribution,
next up is Android 2.2 Froyo with a 27.8 percent
share of Android distribution.
Android
Honeycomb makes up just 3.4 percent of the total Android distribution,
and the remaining is split between Android Eclair which has a 7.6
percent share and Android Donut with 1 percent, plus Android Cupcake on
just 0.6 percent of devices.
It will be interesting to see how Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has moved over the next couple of months, with many manufacturers expected to release the update to their hardware in the next few months.
